Johnny Depp is suing Amber Heard for defamation and Heard is suing Depp right back. The case goes back to 2018 when Heard wrote an OPEd in the Washington Post about being a victim of domestic violence. Even the Court made it clear that there was little doubt that it was directed at Depp. Depp is claiming damages but the broader question is whether this lawsuit actually damages Depp even more.
